ORC Week 2: Starting to Paint

With 6 weeks and such a small space, we’re taking our sweet time.

Over the weekend we went to Home Depot and got the ceiling paint, the wall paint, and the shower head.

We looked at the bluetooth fan we planned to buy, but we ultimately decided not to get it. We would need a professional to install it, and since we’re not planning on staying in this house forever we figured it would be a feature saved for our next home.

I went to Pottery Barn on Sunday but they don’t carry the alphabet hooks in stores, so I ordered those online yesterday. They should be here sometime next week.

So aside from ordering the hooks and vetoing the fan, we’ve successfully painted the ceiling and gotten almost one full coat of paint on the walls.

Yeah, we’re moving a little slow. 🐢
