Since I got the plan nailed down for the laundry room and I recently had a three day weekend, I didn’t want to waste any time! While many people spent Labor Day weekend relaxing, I was doing the opposite. I hustled and painted.
I started by painting the walls Aqua Smoke by Behr, and I used their new Marquee line in Ultra Pure White for the trim.
After the paint dried, Joshua put up the IKEA shelves above the washer and dryer along with some LED lighting.
Next step was to paint the cabinets. After pulling everything out of the cabinets and disassembling the doors, I started priming the cabinets. Three coats of primer and three coats of paint later, the cabinets themselves were done.
Because of space issues, the doors are going to take a little longer to finish and that’s where I am at right now. The pantry doors are just about done, and then I will be moving on to the rest of the doors and drawers. Got a busy weekend ahead of me!
