Now that I am satisfied with the living room, allow me to share it with you! I wanted to get pics in of it now before I start putting up my fall decor.
I look back at the old pictures, and I can’t believe how ugly and dirty this room used to be (sorry Nana!).
Originally this room was just a sitting room. The only time my Nana ever really used this room was during Christmas if she hosted Christmas. Other than that it was home to spare furniture.
The turquoise furniture belonged to my Nana and was fairly new as she redid her living room (now the dining room) awhile back. These pieces are SUPER comfy and IMO stylish, so naturally I hung onto them.
Aside from waiting for a better camera, one of the big reasons it took me so long to shoot pics of the living room (despite it being the very first room to be painted) was that I couldn’t decide what to do on the LACK shelf sitting about the TV. We put it up for the speakers to sit and yet I felt it needed more. I tried various pictures and knick-knacks, but it always looked clutter. They say less is more so I left it to just the speakers.
I think Izzie knew I was getting ready to take pictures because she barely ever hangs out here; she prefers my bedroom 99% of the time.
