So I ended up returning my Mac. It wasn’t because of buyer’s remorse or anything, but it was because they upgraded it the next morning. Yeah, I bought my iMac on Monday night and Tuesday morning Apple announced they updated their desktop line. I had purchased the 20-inch which came with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 1GB of RAM (upgradable to 4GB); plus I spent an extra $300 upgrading the RAM to 4GB. The upgraded iMac came with a 2.66GHz processor, 2GB of RAM (upgradable to 8GB), and a much better video card for the same price.
So I returned my Mac (I got the full refund) and ordered a new one online. I was going to upgrade to 8GB of RAM, but it’s a $1,100.00 upgrade! Instead I spent $100 to go to 4GB, which is much better than $300! Altogether, I saved myself $145 and got an overall better computer! My new Mac should be arriving sometime next week!
