Today’s the day! Our wee little shower room is all done and ready to be used!
To show you how far we’ve come, here are a few photos that I snapped right before we got started.
It was dark and a little messy. If definitely didn’t feel relaxing to go into at the end of the day. The plan was to lighten it up by removing the blinds and painting it the same color as the rest of the bathroom/bedroom. We also wanted to get all the fixtures to match since there was quite a bit of mismatch going on.
Now we have a bathroom that is lighter and brighter!
We wanted to keep this project really simple and affordable, so we didn’t replace the fan or the lighting like I originally planned to in our first post. Towards the end I wanted to see about getting some white corner shelves for the shower to possibly replace our shower storage hack, but it was very last minute and didn’t happen. Something to think about for the future, especially when we plan to sell the house.
A HUGE shout-out goes to Joshua for doing all the hard work! My role in all of this was more Creative Director. 😉 Joshua did all the painting, installed the hooks and the shower-head. I just decorated and cleaned. We’re very happy with how everything turned out!
