Christmas 2013

Our Christmas began on Saturday the 21st where we went over to Joshua’s dad and stepmom’s house for dinner, games, and presents. We celebrated with my sister, Joshua’s stepsister, stepbrother, and brother along with the parents. We had a great time watching Mr. Big in his snowman outfit play with my in-laws’ brand new Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy.

Christmas Eve I had the day off, so I was able to finish my Christmas shopping, get groceries for the following day’s dinner, wrap presents, and finish decorating.

The next set of festivities began on Christmas morning. Dani, Joshua and I exchanged gifts and after that Joshua and I went over to his adopted family’s house for breakfast and more gift exchanging. Then we came back to the house where I began preparing Christmas dinner.

My parents, grandpa, uncle and cousin were present for Christmas dinner along with Joshua, Dani, and I. We had a delicious prime rib roast, gravy, mashed potatoes, rolls, broccoli, and sautéed spinach, and for dessert my uncle brought cheesecake.
