This week I finally got back on track with exercising and eating better. I’ve been worried that my Metformin has stopped working, and because my weight has plateaued since my miscarriage, I decided I really needed to make some significant changes. And to be honest, once I started dropping weight on Metformin, I didn’t do much else to manage my diet and exercise.
I recently ordered The PCOS Diet Plan and started reading it this week to help me better prepare meals and snacks. I also worked out Monday through Friday, going on the treadmill for 30 minutes Monday, Wednesday, Friday and going to yoga on Tuesday and Thursday. I’m really proud of myself considering how lazy I usually am, haha!
In other news, I am borrowing Joshua’s laptop because my laptop is getting sent in with the hopes of getting a new wifi card. I’ve always had connectivity issues with my laptop, and lately it was starting to do this thing where it would turn my wifi off and wouldn’t allow me to turn it back on. The only way I was able to get it to turn on was restarting my computer. I took a trip to the Genius Bar and now it’s off getting repaired.
Exciting things happened at work this week! One of our biggest achievements has been finally launching a new Three29 site! Me along with, Art Director Jason, Digital Producer James, and a handful of developers have been working hard behind the scenes since August of last year to create a more grown-up agency version of our site. We soft-launched it this week, and we’re working out some bugs before bringing more attention to it.
One of the new projects I’m working on this year is a redesign of one of my favorite eateries, Selland’s Market-Cafe (best gluten-free pizza, IMHO). They’re opening up a new location in Sacramento, so I got to take a tour in order to gather some design inspiration along with two of my colleagues. In addition to the tour, I finished wireframes for the redesign and will be presenting those later next week.
I also found out some rather exciting news regarding a site I designed last year, but I won’t be able to share the news until after Thursday. 😈 Stay tuned!
Nothing new going on with the blog other than I really want to start getting back into blogging regularly. I’ve missed blogging more, and there are monthly series post that I miss doing. I guess this is my long-winded way of saying I miss blogging, and I’m going to try posting more. 😝

I’m guessing you won an award for something you worked on… either way, can’t wait to hear the news. 🙂
I used to have wifi issues with my old MacBook Air, but it was just a matter of restarting the computer or disabling the wifi and enabling it again. Wifi issues are one of the most annoying bugs, though. Hope it comes back fresh and fixed!
So proud of you, Sis!
