Because of my PCOS and the fact I am regularly taking an antibiotic to help with my acne, it’s important for me to have good bacteria to balance things out and keep my gut healthy. Not only do I take a probiotic, but I’ve recently been incorporating kombucha as a regular beverage into my diet as well. I love it because it comes in a wide variety of flavors and it satisifies that sweet beverage craving I’d get when wanting a soda. My favorites are the Raw & Organic Live Kombucha Culture Cola and GT’s Kombucha (Strawberry Syrenity and Cosmic Cranberry).
Call me a sap, but I love me a good Nicholas Sparks movie. During the last week of July Joshua was out of town for training, so I had a few nights to myself to watch whatever I wanted and The Longest Ride was one of those movies. Some of the plot lines hit home, which made the movie relatable and enjoyable, plus it’s Nicholas Sparks so it’s always a good love story. And of course I bought a couple tracks off the soundtrack which I’ve been listening to nonstop for the last couple of months.
I first heard of Jaclyn Hill when looking at make-up vanities on Pinterest. Her make-up room kept popping up with captions about people coveted her setup, so eventually I Googled her to see who she was. Turns out she’s a professional make-up artist that does tutorials on YouTube. I started watching her tutorials here and there and began learning a lot a great tips, such as how to fill in/sculpt my eyebrows. Her eyeshadow looks are a little too bold at times for my liking, so I’m never really trying to copy an entire look; I mainly watch her videos for tips and techniques. I love her and she’s one of my favorite YouTubers!
