I Blogged for 30 Days Straight and Here’s What Happened

Well, guys, I did it! Today is the final day of NaBloPoMo, and I successfully blogged for 30 days straight! I definitely learned a lot and what I am capable of doing for my blog.

• I had days where I legit did not know what to write about, even when looking at other blogs for inspiration.
• I tried to do as much planning ahead as possible, which really helped. I really want to get into batch content creation so I can schedule things ahead of time.
• I’d spend either my mornings before work or evenings before bed working on blog posts. Due to coming up with new content each day, there were days where if I didn’t get stuff done before work I’d be scrambling to get them done before bed. I also spent a lot of time drafting posts on the weekends.
• I finally got some posts published that had been sitting as drafts for awhile!
• I pushed myself to create my very first gift guides, something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time but never made the extra effort to pursue.
• I’ve proven to myself that if I can create new content for 30 days straight then I am capable of putting together a consistent schedule by planning ahead.

I’m not gonna lie, I am happy to have my mornings/evenings back where I am not pressed to create new content every single day. 😆 But I really want to take what I’ve learned and turn it into more consistent blogging. Goals for 2019!
