We’re up in Seattle right now for my sister-in-law’s wedding and staying at a GORGEOUS Airbnb.
I woke up around 7:30am and headed upstairs to have coffee and breakfast with the family. Joshua and I are staying in the basement apartment of Airbnb, which is really nice given all the family that is staying in the house. We have breakfast which consists of bacon and homemade hash browns with a side of coffee.
Eventually everyone starts getting ready for the day and by 10am we are out the door heading down to the pier where we will be taking the Seattle Harbor Cruise. We end up getting there an hour early so we enjoy some time perusing through the shops on the pier. We also got to witness a few fishermen catching squid – pretty neat!
Our tour was great! Although it was foggy at first it gradually cleared up by the time we started coming back to the harbor. We learned a lot about the harbor and some of the landmarks as well as a lot of neat trivia. The tour is a great way to see everything without visiting it all. Definitely recommend it if you venture to Seattle.
Next was lunch at Pike Place Market. Me and a few siblings got our food from Market Grill, which had some really yummy chowder. Once we were done with dinner we had to head back to the house to get ready for the evening’s festivities.
My mom and Dani were staying at a hotel not too far from us, so we picked them up and brought them over to the house we’re staying at. While my mom hung out with the rest of the family for the evening, Dani and I along with Amber, Serena (the bride), and the other bridesmaids were taken to The Hi-Life for dinner to begin the bachelorette party festivities.
After dinner we all met back at the house where a limo was waiting to take us out!
For three hours we drove around Seattle stopping at various parks and places that were special to Serena and David’s relationship. Each stop she told us a story that had to do with her relationship, which was awesome for those of us who didn’t know David real well. Then we’d take a selfie. Definitely had a great time with all those ladies!
When the limo dropped us all off back at the house, Joshua and I took my mom and Dani back to the hotel. When all was said and done we rolled into bed around 12:30am after a very fun but exhausting day. The end!
