Paul Daniel: 10 Months

My little boy just keeps on growing. He’s already in 12-18 month clothing, and we’re probably gonna switch him over to size 4 diapers real soon, at least the nighttime ones.

He rolls EVERYWHERE now that he figured out it can get him places, and he gets super fussy when there is an obstacle in his way. He loves to explore his surroundings and grab all the things.

He knows how to reach for us when he wants to be picked up, and he can officially say, “Mama” and “Dada” to us. Right now he says it when he REALLY wants our attention. He also says, “Dis” when he’s holding and inspecting an object. It’s so cute!

He’s sitting upright on his own and is very cautious when lowering himself to the ground. In the past few days I’ve noticed him practicing getting up on all fours, so who knows where we’ll be a month from now. 😉

Feeding

His top two teeth came in, so he has a total of four lil chompers! He’s getting so good at eating, especially grabbing and bringing food to his mouth on his own. I think it helps that whenever I feed him Lily is eating too, so he has someone to watch as a reference on how to do this whole eating thing.

Sleeping

Now that he rolls both ways he’s become a side-tummy sleeper. He sleeps SO well when he is on his belly. For example, his morning naps were averaging 20-30 mins, and now when he sleeps on his belly they stretch to 40-50 mins. Then he’ll sleep anywhere from 2-3 hours in the afternoon. And he still sleeps like a rockstar all through the night, thank goodness!

Favorites

Cuddle + Kind Dolls – For Lily’s first Easter I got her a bunny, so I’m doing the same for Paul. They both love their “friends” since they’re so cute and cuddly. Plus I love that every purchase goes toward a good cause – every doll feeds 10 children in need.

Baby Puffs – Just like his sister, Paul loves his puffs. He gets so excited when I put them out in front of him. Sure, most of them end up on the floor 😆, but what makes it into his mouth he enjoys.
