A Quiet Halloween

Pumpkin Contest at Work

This year’s Halloween was very low key. A few of us dressed up at work, myself included (I was a Gryffindor student – surprise, surprise), and the building next door had a few activities going on including a pumpkin carving contest.

Later in the evening Joshua and I simply hung out at home watching Breaking Bad and handing out candy to all four trick-or-treaters. I didn’t decorate as much as I would have liked due to our yard being torn apart (I guess it kinda fit? LOL), but hopefully next year will be different.

Today starts the annual NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) in which I challenge myself to blog everyday for a whole month!

NaBloPoMo November 2013

I typically get pretty busy during the year, so blogging gets put on the back-burner; however NaBloPoMo is a great opportunity to get back on the wagon with blogging. They’re also offering daily prompts so you’re not stuck on what to write about. Should be fun!

Oh good! I am so glad someone else I know is doing NaBloPoMo. Whoot.

I can’t believe you only had 4 kids!! Whoa. How many did you receive last year?

I think we had about the same last year. We don’t get too many on our street because we don’t have sidewalks even though the houses are super close together.
