For my foreign readers, today is the days us Americans sit down with our families and enjoy turkey, gravy, stuffing, and cranberry sauce in honor of the pilgrims sharing this with the Indians. It’s also a day to be thankful.
I have a lot to be thankful for this year, considering what has happened. Most of all, I am thankful for my parents, grandparents, Joshua, Joshua’s family, and Rebecca. Without them… I don’t know where I’d be. They’ve been my rock throughout this whole year.
And, on a more spiritual note, I’m thankful for my God. I haven’t been at all very religious within the past two years I’ve lived down here, and I feel bad about it. Joshua and I are hoping to move back home next Summer, and I’ve made a promise to go back to church on a regular basis come then.
Anyhoo, I have quite a day ahead of me. I’m hosting Thanksgiving at my wee lil duplex, so I have to get the turkey ready!
