Ever since we moved in two years ago the garage got put on the back-burner, and lately it has been rather frustrating to find anything or navigate through it. Seeing as I am on my summer break, I decided today I would tackle the garage, especially since the weather cooled down a bit.
I had a can of Behr Off White paint that I originally intended to use for painting the closets inside the house. After we had the whole interior painted I said the heck with the closets. Since I had this can of paint laying around I figured I’d put it to good use!
Only one side of the garage is sheet-rocked. The rest is either unfinished or has pegboard up. My plan is to paint the sheet-rocked side (laundry side) and put up pegboard on the unfinished areas, eventually painting that too. Today, I was able to spackle, sand, and paint the laundry side.
Tomorrow I’m heading to Lowe’s to grab some paint for the shelf, patching materials for the holes in the wall, and other fun stuff to pretty up the garage. I also plan to paint the trim around the door. Stay tuned!
