Air Mattress to Real Mattress

In new place news we FINALLY got a real mattress. We’ve been sleeping on an air mattress since we moved here figuring we could live until we could afford a real one. After going through 2 of them, we said screw it and made the splurge.

We’ve been extremely tight on money mostly thanks to all the home improvements that have been going on. Plus Joshua has been trying to pay off his credit cards while paying utility bills. I don’t start work until April so I haven’t had any money coming in except the occasional few bucks from grandparents and Mom. Plus I had to spend almost $500 on Bella’s vet bill. It’ll be really nice when I have a paycheck coming in again.

We’ve finished all the painting and now the next project is the floor. We’re putting in laminate flooring in the living room and hallway and carpet in the bedrooms.

The kitchen and bathroom are their own projects, which we’ll get to once everything else is done. I’m looking forward to the summer when everything inside is done and we can work on the outside.

P.S. We did finally get the remainder of our bed thanks to my grandparents.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have their help. Without them, I honestly don’t know where I would be. They’ve done so much already and continue doing more.
