Not only is today National Cookie Day 🍪 but Sarah over at Room for Tuesday recently hosted the very first Blog Hop Cookie Swap which I thought was such a cool idea! What better way to celebrate than sharing my chocolate chip cookie recipe!
I’ve made homemade chocolate chip cookies many times over the years. Seriously, at one point I was bringing them in weekly at my last job for clients and such. I’ve tried many variations too. I’ve tried the recipe on the back of the Nestle bag, and I tried one from my Weight Watchers cookbook. The one I kept coming back to was a simple recipe from my old Betty Crocker’s Cooking With Kids cookbook (it’s where my fudge recipe comes from too).
My diet has changed in recent years to no dairy, no gluten, and no added sugar, so I’ve had to adjust my recipe. I made this recipe a few months ago and it was a big hit! Not only was it husband-approved but it was also nutritionist-approved and friend-approved!
