7 Podcasts I’m Loving in 2018

headphones podcasts

Since last year when I last shared my favorite podcasts, I’ve really been getting more into them. In fact, I barely listen to music in the car anymore. I’m all about my podcasts. I’ve added a handful of new ones to my library this year which makes my commute a learning opportunity. Here are some of my favorites!

The Soundtrack Show

Words cannot express how much I love this podcast. It’s like it was made for me. I am a HUGE soundtrack junkie (mainly movie scores), and every week David W. Collins dives into my favorites. He’s covered Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jaws, Psycho, Disney, and so much more. I’ve learned a ton about some of my favorite composers.

The Goal Digger Podcast

My sister introduced me to Jenna Kutcher on Mother’s Day and not only did I learn that Jenna’s pregnancy loss story was almost identical to mind but that she is an extremely savvy in the world of social media and managing your own business. I’ve learned so much from the guests she’s interviewed and her, taking strategies and applying them to both my personal and professional work.

The Melissa Ambrosini Show

Melissa Ambrosini was a guest on The Goal Digger Podcast and she immediately got my attention when she mentioned the title of her book, Mastering Your Mean Girl. By the end of her episode, I was hooked and ordered her book. Now I start every Monday morning on my drive to work by spraying my Palo Santo Smudge Spray and listening to her Monday Motivation episodes ready to take on the week. She’s become one of my favorite holistic gurus!

Healing Uncensored

Sarah was a guest on one of my other favorite podcasts, Unbound Healing. I was fascinated by her knowledge and loved that she was another holistic health coach who shared a lot of the same views and interests.

Essentially You with Dr. Mariza Snyder

I first heard of Dr. Mariza on an episode of the PCOS Diva podcast talking about essential oils. I ordered her book and found it to be one of the most educational and thorough books on essential oils I’ve ever read. I was thrilled when she started a podcast this year and it has been nothing short of informative. I’m excited to read her new book The Essential Oils Hormone Solution next year!

The Wellness Mama Podcast

This year I’ve been listening to a lot more people in the holistic and wellness community helping to drive home the lifestyle choices I’ve been making. Katie and her guests definitely fall into that! I’ve followed Katie’s site for a few years and finally got around to listening to her podcast, and it’s another great one to add to my collection of wellness learning.

Ask a Manager

Like Dear Abby but for the workplace, Allison Green gives advice to managers, interns, employees, etc. on a variety of workplace topics. Many topics covered I’ve found to be very helpful working in an office environment that has no official HR person. It’s a great way to get some perspective on how to solve potential problems in the workplace.
