Paper Organzing and Duplex Updates

Somewhere in between my crazy school and work schedule, I managed to find time to do something around the house other than clean it. This quarter I’m taking a couple classes that have required me to print a variety of materials such as CDs, folders, and business cards, which has caused quite the build-up of different types of paper around the house.

I picked up this handy-dandy organizer at Target initially to bring to work, but I decided to use it to organize all my different types of paper.

Armed with my label maker, I went at it and organized all my paper, minus my regular printing paper. At the moment, I have address labels, business cards, cardstock, CD labels, photo paper, and shipping labels.

In other news, our old duplex is on it’s way to looking like a million bucks thanks to my mom, her property manager, and amazing contractor. To start with, the entire interior of the house has been repainted and all the windows except the kitchen have been replaced.

In addition to the new paint and windows, the garage door was replaced and ALL the flooring and light fixtures will be updated as well. Even the electrical work was updated.

It’s crazy to think about how many changes our old place has undergone just within the last four years. Hopefully now that it’s getting the attention it deserves it will stay this way for awhile.
