My Favorite Podcasts

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Commutes can be long and boring, so I tend to pass the time by listening to podcasts. I feel like I can give the information my undivided attention better than listening to them at work. That’s why I tend to listen to Podcasts in the car and music while working. Here’s a roundup of what I’ve got in my library.

The Official Outlander Podcast

The Official Outlander Podcast
It’s basically commentary for each episode of Outlander. I just started listening this week, and I can’t believe it took me this long to find considering this is one of my top favorite TV shows. I love hearing why they made the decisions they did, especially if those decisions differ from the book.

The Dave Ramsey Show

The Dave Ramsey Show
Joshua and I are huge Dave Ramsey fans, so I always have his show queued up. We’ve been on the Dave Ramsey plan for a couple years now, and it’s completely changed our lives financially. I like listening to his show because it not only continues to reiterate the plan, but I’m able to keep up to date on what’s going on in the organization. Plus he usually recommends some good books to read.

Stuff You Should Know

Stuff You Should Know
This one was recommended by one of my coworkers and thus got me and another coworker listening to it. Josh and Chuck tackle a unique range of topics every week, and I always learn something new.

Young House Love Has a Podcast

Young House Love Has A Podcast
I’ve been a long-time follower of John and Sherry’s blog, so naturally following their podcast was a no-brainer. They cover house-related and lifestyle topics. Listening to them regularly helps me feel like I can stay up to date with what’s going on in the interior design/house decorating world without getting overwhelmed.

A Slob Comes Clean

A Slob Comes Clean
I think Dana’s methods were mentioned on an episode of Young House Love. I checked out her blog and eventually started listening to her podcasts as she gives out amazing tips and advice on cleaning and organizing your home. Except it’s real advice that busy people can follow.

PCOS Diva

PCOS Diva
Ever since I was diagnosed with PCOS two years ago PCOS Diva has become my number one resource. Thanks to Amy’s podcast I’ve been introduced to wealth of information and even a couple new books and people to follow.

Adventures in Happiness

Adventures in Happiness with Jessica Ortner
Jessica Ortner was a guest on a PCOS Diva podcast which is how I got turned on to listening to her podcast. Jessica’s podcasts cover a wide variety of topics related to wellness in mind, body, and spirit. I always feel so motivated and inspired after listening to an episode.

Unbound Healing

Unbound Healing
A health coach I follow on Instagram mentioned she had a guest segment on this podcast and that’s all it took for me to be hooked. This podcast is fairly new, so I was able to catch up on all their episodes rather quickly. Their podcast has been a wonderful companion to everything I’ve been doing with my nutritionist, and has helped keep me motivated during times where I’ve felt discouraged with my progress.
